Wakey wakey

"Life is a banquet and the tragedy is that most people are starving" Anthony De Mello

I love the simplicity of his teachings. We (humans) really are asleep and we don't want to wakeup. Life is funky. lol

Of love

The unconditional kind, the kind that is and allows, the kind that is unconceptualizable, so spacious it boggles the mind, I catch a glimpse of this love and I feel a blossoming in me, so joyful.

let it go or be joyful about it

If you examine your history, you cannot help but repeat it! Law of Attraction says it is so: "Whatever I am looking at, I am including in my vibration." Abraham Hicks

Natural hay fever treatments that work

I've been trying out different natural treatments (foods and herbs) and so far I'm blown by the results. Granted its the beginning of the hay fever season but I have not suffered any symptoms at all.

My regimen has included taking:
-blueberry smoothies with soya milk
-organic apple juice
-lots of apples
-lots of onions and garlic
-sweet basil (in pesto)
-turmeric powder (in my smoothies)
-milk thistle herb tea with honey

The most important supplement which gives instant results: Acid neutral vitamin C.

According to ayurveda, accumulated wastes and toxins block the channels, trapping the toxins inside the tissues, and activating the immune system. When additional allergens such as pollen or dust arrive on the scene, the already irritated immune system goes into “high gear,” creating the symptoms of an allergy attack. Symptoms will vary depending on the tissue that has accumulated the toxic waste (ama visha.).

The above foods booster the immune system...and since the cause of allergies is toxic waste in the body, it's important to cleanse/detoxify the body as well.

I've done very light fasts (2 days) with fruit juice and cleansing herbs and can recommend them for general well being as well as for alleviating allergies.
