Hmmm....more that makes me go mmmm

Boris Kodjoe (bit of a name there lol)is featured in a style editorial, in this months InStyle (US). He's now starring in "Undercovers", which I'm undoubtedly going to watch now. A bit of eye candy should make up for the loss of my beloved "Dirty Sexy Money", Lipstick Jungle" and "Cashmere Mafia". Sigh. Life is so tough for me bohooo.

Zeitgeist Addendum: Resource based society

I LOVE this movie!

I haven't heard a more qualified presentation of a society based on the well being of human beings, as opposed to profit, than the one presented in this documentary.

I cant see how it is not absolutely insane that we have a world based on monetary profit rather than well being, joy and happiness.

To this day, I am amazed that the NATURAL states of happiness, joy and love are scoffed at as wishful and wasteful thinking. INSANE!

This documentary explains how a monetary profit based system is sustained by the wrongful idea that competition leads to motivation, growth and wealth. The reality is the opposite. Think about it...competition leads to unethical and throat cutting actions...basically a "I'll kill you before you kill me" strategy...and eventually, to corruption.

Zeitgeist talks about ABUNDANCE (yay...I'm hearing this word more and more) being the order of the day...rather than the illusion of scarcity. Scarcity of water, power and food. Basic needs which could easily be covered by the development of clean technologies.

Zeitgeist encourages incorporating green living as much as possible, choosing banks based on ethical monetary policies and abandoning military practices.

Change and growth are natural. Competition and scarcity are illusions. Abundance is.
